The Belvedere of La Chambotte



It is one of the most beautiful viewpoints on the Lac du Bourget. This Belvedere allows you to admire the entire lake (the first natural lake in France) and you can also contemplate Hautecombe Abbey. The Abbey of Hautecombe



The Royal Abbey of Hautecombe is a 12th century Cistercian abbey located in the commune of Saint-Pierre-de-Curtille on the western shore of Lake Bourget. The building overlooking the lake is one of the most visited sites in Savoie Mont Blanc. It is a unique place thanks to its architecture and its rich heritage. The Royal Abbey is home to the graves of the illustrious counts of Savoy and the last kings and queens of Italy. A self-guided tour is offered to admire the different works of art and the neo-gothic architecture.

The Casino



The casino was built in 1847 as a marvel of 19th century spa architecture, based on the plans of the architect Pellegrini, and has since been extended. The decorations are magnificent, notably the mosaic domes by Salviati and Cavaillé-Coll, and it is located in the heart of Aix-les-Bains. It has 222 slot machines, and is one of the largest French slot machine parks. The Casino Grand Cercle offers a varied programme of festive evenings (concerts, shows, balls, etc.), regular poker tournaments, unique areas for hire, a bar and a restaurant, "La Brasserie du Casino".
